Vitamins for weight loss, anti-aging, cancer prevention, I want to look like Jennifer Aniston!
Aug 27th
After meeting Jennifer Aniston, I have looked into everything I could to look as good as she does. I think I might be taking to much though. I have been taking for weight loss; Vitamin B2, B3, B6, Sea Kelp, GTF Chromium, Pantothenic Acid, Inositol, and triple tea fat burner. For anti-aging, C0Q-10, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Resveratrol, Alpha-Lipoic Acid 600, also skin creams Neo Journee (swiss technology), and SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF. For cancer prevention; vitamin C, D3, Lysine, and Flaxseed Oil. Vitamin B12 because I’m vegetarian. I also take Estrodiol, Testosterone by prescription, and from time to time DHEA. About once a week I take Vitamin A + E. Please help me figure out if this is okay, or if I am taking too many, I want a hot body and to look good
I’m pretty sure Smartwater won’t do the trick. Though it would be great if it did!
Good News For Resveratrol And Prostate Cancer Prevention
Jan 11th
You may have heard recently about resveratrol and prostate cancer prevention in the media, as it is being tipped as a major force for the future in the fight against cancer.
This amazing nutrient is found in nature, with high concentrations in Japanese Knotweed, red grape skins, blueberries and peanuts. This is why resveratrol prostate cancer studies have found that red wine is a good source if taken in enough quantities, as the grape skins are fermented longer.
Researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham have announced the results of a study in which mice that were fed resveratrol were 87% less likely to develop the most deadly form of prostate cancer (compared with mice not fed with it).
This is good news for resveratrol and prostate cancer prevention and furthermore these studies showed that of the mice that did then get prostate cancer, they were 48% less likely to suffer from a serious tumour.
It has been proven to fight cancer in all three stages: initiation, promotion and progression, which is quite a big deal seeing as though we are only just getting to grips with this nutrient.
The main reason for this is that it is a very powerful antioxidant, which is proven not only to fight cancer but also reverse the aging process. In fact, it is being hailed as one of the most exciting substances ever found to aid the extension of life and slow aging.
So it is not only the resveratrol and prostate cancer link which is cause all the excitement but many others too such as helping with Alzheimer’s and diabetes.
All this is especially great news for men, that we can potentially fight off this increasingly common disease.
So apart from consuming copious amounts of red wine, how can we get the benefits of resveratrol?
Today, the most effective way is in the form of a combined health supplement, but make sure they only use natural synergetic ingredients, with at least 20mg of natural 50% trans-resveratrol, which is the most active type.
For example, resveratrol combines well with green tea extract among others, and it is this beneficial interaction or synergy that greatly amplifies its power to fight cancer, and many other diseases.
In closing I hope that this info on resveratrol and prostate cancer has highlighted what this amazing nutrient can do, especially when taken in a multi health supplement.
Perhaps in the future, as we become more and more aware, we could help to eradicate this deadly disease by taking preventative steps, rather than looking for a cure.

Resveratrol As Prostate Cancer Prevention
Dec 25th
Cancers of all types are caused by free radicals, chronic inflammation and exposure to carcinogens. Normal cells become mutated and multiply spreading to the surrounding tissue and eventually forming a tumor.
You may have heard recently about Resveratrol and prostate cancer prevention in the media, as it is being tipped as a major force for the future in the fight against cancer. Resveratrol prostate cancer studies were initiated because it has unique antioxidant activity. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals.
This substance is found in the skin of certain red grapes. But don’t be too hasty. You could never drink enough wine for it to make a huge difference and so you need to look for another way to take it.
What this all means is that instead of drinking plenty of red wine everyday, take a multi-vitamin supplement that contains resveratrol. This is especially true for men over fifty. However, you do not need to wait until you are over fifty to begin taking a supplement that contains over seventy different vitamins and minerals.
Numerous studies have been conducted concerning Resveratrol and prostate cancer, as well as other forms of the disease. The results have all been encouraging. But to date, major health organizations will not confirm the Resveratrol prostate cancer prevention connection. It’s doubtful that they ever will. Alternative practitioners are already supporting the use of this and other natural antioxidants, not only to prevent cancers, but to treat them.
Resveratrol has other properties beneficial to us, including protection against heart disease and is a strong anti oxidant that helps reduce inflammation too. But it is the Resveratrol and prostate cancer link that is producing much excitement.
If you want to learn more about Resveratrol and prostate cancer treatment, I suggest that you seek the advice of a doctor of naturopathic medicine. You should be able to find one in your area. If your goal is prevention, choose a good multi-nutritional supplement and take it every day.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, they say. Those of us who want to prevent life threatening diseases are doing all that we can in that direction. A healthy diet and regular physical activity are of utmost importance. No one will dispute that fact.
