My most recent blood work showed my LDL/HDL ratio has dropped from 8 to 5. I am not taking statins or any other cholesterol medications and I have nothing else to which I can attribute the drop. My supplements include niacin (1g) and flax seed oil (1.3g) but I have used both of these before without any significant improvement. I started off taking two capsules daily but I reduced the dosage to one capsule after noting a laxative effect, which resolved the issue.
